About the Role:

We are looking for an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join our team in Falkirk. Whether you're a fully qualified adviser seeking a new challenge or newly qualified and eager to gain valuable experience, we want to hear from you. As an IFA, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored financial advice that aligns with each client's unique goals and circumstances. You will be part of a well-established financial advice firm, guiding clients through various aspects of their financial lives, including investment, retirement, estate, tax planning, and risk management.

In this role, you will manage an existing book of business and generate new business through our established reputation, connections, and referrals. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining client relationships, serving as a brand ambassador, and delivering exceptional service. You'll receive dedicated administrative support to manage paperwork, allowing you to focus on client service and applying your market expertise.

Our firm specialises in holistic financial planning, covering areas such as pensions, protection, investment strategies, and cash flow planning. We operate independently and are directly authorised by the FCA, ensuring that our advice is unbiased and centred on the client's best interests. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity for those with a strong work ethic and a positive approach to financial services, helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am to 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting potential new clients to understand their financial planning needs.
  • Presenting investment advice in compliance with regulations and firm standards.
  • Providing paraplanning and administrative support.
  • Collaborating with the support team to benefit the business.
  • Maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Building and nurturing a strong network of professional connections.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to investment propositions.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified or making significant progress with R0 exams.
  • High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Task-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Highly driven, a team player, and a desire to excel.
  • Previous experience in the financial planning industry is essential.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

  • Falkirk: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Fully qualified or significant progress with R0 exams.

Work Location: Office-based. 90% of appointments will be within the office.
